A premier, publicly traded US Cyber corporation and industry pioneer in Identity Security, operating in Tel Aviv through an autonomous R&D hub established via the acquisition of a top-tier local startup.

The local engineering team spearheads core security product development, combining startup speed and technical independence with massive enterprise resources.

Located in central Tel Aviv (Hagag Towers, walking distance from Israel Railways and directly adjacent to the Light Rail), operating on a hybrid work model with 1 day WFH per week.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Senior Backend & Security Data Engineer, joining an organic R&D squad reporting directly to the Team Lead.

• Architecting, developing, and scaling high-throughput Backend Services, Distributed Data Pipelines, and Ingestion Engines in a cloud environment (Python, AWS, Snowflake).

• Engineering robust data processing systems designed to aggregate, parse, and analyze massive volumes of security telemetry and logs from diverse distributed sources.

• Building detection and analytics mechanisms that identify complex identity threats, anomalous behaviors, and security vulnerabilities at enterprise scale.

• Collaborating cross-functionally with Security Researchers, Data Architects, and Global R&D teams to deliver resilient, non-web-centric backend solutions.

Requirements-

• Proven background meeting one of the following criteria:

• Extensive hands-on industry experience in Backend Engineering within Cybersecurity companies – Mandatory

• Substantial hands-on experience in Elite Military Tech Units (e.g., 8200, 81, Matzov, Center 49, etc.) combining software development with Security Analysis, Malware Analysis, or Cyber Research – Mandatory

• Deep, proven professional background in the Cybersecurity domain (Security Products, Threat Detection, Identity Security, or Security Research) – Mandatory

• Advanced programming mastery in Python – Mandatory

• Proven hands-on expertise in Data Pipelines, Data Processing, Distributed Architectures, and Large-Scale Telemetry Ingestion (non-standard web backend) – Mandatory

• Solid hands-on experience with Public Cloud Infrastructure (AWS) – Mandatory
