Mertens Malam Team is hiring a QA Automation Tech Lead for a financial organization in Tel Aviv.

The role includes leading testing, quality strategy, and QA processes while promoting an Automation First approach, implementing Quality Engineering practices, and leading QA professionals in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities:

Leading testing, quality strategy, and QA processes

Promoting an Automation First approach and implementing Quality Engineering practices

Leading QA professionals in a matrix environment

Hands-on work with Cucumber, Gherkin, Appium, Detox, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD

Implementing and maintaining mobile automation infrastructure for iOS and Android environments

Defining methodologies and quality metrics

Integrating advanced AI tools into QA processes

Developing solutions for Test Data, Mocks, Stubs, and Service Virtualization

Requirements:

At least 5 years of QA experience in large organizations, including manual and automated testing of mobile applications

At least 1 year of experience as a QA Team Lead, Development Team Lead, or Tech Lead

At least 2 years of experience designing and implementing automation infrastructure based on Cucumber or Gherkin

At least 2 years of mobile automation experience, with an emphasis on Appium or Detox

At least 2 years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, Python or Java, and React Native environments
