QA Engineer

Kela is a secure, open platform enabling rapid and seamless integration of commercial and military systems in service of Western defense. We are looking for a QA Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. The role involves working closely with development and cross-functional teams, planning and executing tests, identifying issues, and continuously improving our testing processes. Responsibilities • Perform manual QA testing of operational systems and identify, document, and track bugs. • Conduct user and UX testing, providing feedback from an operational end-user perspective. • Perform ITP/ATP testing as part of system integration and delivery. • Test and validate hardware-software integrations, including radars, cameras, and other components. • Handle system configurations, IP addresses, and integration troubleshooting. • Work closely with Software, Hardware, DevOps, and TechOps teams. • Support system experiments, integrations, and continuous QA process improvements. Requirements •  At least 3 years of experience in software testing (QA). • Experience in planning, writing, and executing testing processes. • Experience in writing test and specification documents, including SRS, STP, and ATP. • Experience in documenting issues, opening bugs, tracking them to closure, and performing Regression testing. • Understanding and experience in communication and computer networks. • Ability to analyze issues and understand end-to-end system processes. • Ability to work independently, take responsibility, and lead tasks. • High self-learning ability and quick adoption of new systems and technologies. • Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment. • Orderliness, thoroughness, accuracy, and attention to detail. • Ability to work and collaborate with development, integration, system teams, and other parties in the organization. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in testing security / military systems. • Experience in testing systems that integrate software and hardware (HW/SW). • Experience in integration testing and complex systems. • Experience working in a Linux environment. • Familiarity with communication protocols and network testing tools. • Experience working with bug and task management tools such as Jira or similar systems. • Familiarity with Embedded systems, cameras, sensors, or communication equipment - an advantage. • Experience working with field systems and performing system experiments / tests - an advantage.
