QA Engineer – Multidisciplinary Systems

Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy: Author and maintain formal test documentation (STP, STD, STR) for complex integrated systems.

• Integration & Validation: Conduct system-level testing, regression testing, and end-to-end verification of system requirements (SRS).

• Troubleshooting: Perform deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA), isolate software vs. hardware/firmware issues, and analyze logs.

• Automation: Develop and maintain automation infrastructure and scripts to shorten test cycles and improve coverage.

• Lab Work: Operate lab instrumentation (Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Multimeters, etc.) to perform real-time measurements and validation.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with software, hardware, firmware, and systems engineering teams to resolve issues both in the field and in the lab.

Requirements:

• Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science – Required.

• Experience: 5+ years as a QA/System Tester or Integration Engineer in a multidisciplinary environment (HW/SW integration) – Required.

• Technical Skills:

• Proven experience working with lab instrumentation.

• Ability to read electrical schematics and understand system architecture.

• Knowledge of communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, Serial/UART, I2C/SPI).

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python is a significant advantage; Bash/Shell).

• Soft Skills:

• Strong independent learning and troubleshooting capabilities in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent teamwork and ability to work in cross-functional groups.

• Professional fluency in English (verbal and written).

Advantages:

• Experience in RT/Embedded environments.

• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira/ALM).

• Experience working in clean rooms or with electro-optical/RF systems.

• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies.
