Security Architect

Cydero is a boutique cybersecurity company based in Tel Aviv.

We’re looking for a hands-on cybersecurity professional who is ready to take ownership of broader, end-to-end security challenges.

You don’t need to be a Security Architect today. If you have a strong technical foundation and want more responsibility and influence over how solutions are designed and implemented, this could be a good next step.

The role combines security architecture, implementation, penetration testing, and direct work with clients. You’ll understand each client’s environment, identify risks and constraints, design the right solution, and remain involved through implementation.

You’ll join a small team of experienced security professionals and have direct interaction with company leadership. There is room to raise ideas, challenge existing approaches, and put better solutions into practice.

What you’ll do

• Design security architectures for different client environments

• Lead technical discovery and onboarding

• Design and implement EDR, firewall, networking, and other security solutions

• Plan and conduct penetration tests, analyze the findings, and develop practical remediation plans

• Explain technical options and trade-offs to clients

• Stay involved from initial analysis through implementation

What we’re looking for

• 3–6 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience

• Strong experience with EDR, firewalls, and networking

• Practical penetration testing experience

• The ability to go into technical detail while keeping the broader architecture in mind

• Clear communication and confidence working directly with clients

• Independence, curiosity, and good technical judgment

• Background in IT environments and infrastructure — an advantage
