Key Requirements
• Experience & Expertise: Proven experience as an M365 Compliance & Purview Specialist (or equivalent role), with deep, up-to-date expertise across Microsoft Purview capabilities and the Microsoft roadmap.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to partner and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders—including Legal, Privacy, Cyber Security, Information Security, Records Management, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams.
• Requirements Translation: Demonstrated skill in translating business and regulatory requirements into actionable functional, operational, and technical implementation plans.
• Core Purview Capabilities: Hands-on knowledge and implementation experience in key areas such as Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Sensitivity Labels, Records Management, Retention Policies, eDiscovery, Audit, Insider Risk, and Information Protection.
• AI & Copilot Governance (Advantage / Focus Area): Familiarity with evaluating and implementing Purview governance, protection, and compliance controls to support Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI initiatives.
• Delivery & Project Coordination: Experience tracking initiative progress, managing dependencies, supporting testing (UAT/pilots), and coordinating between business requirements and technical delivery teams (Security Operations, Infrastructure, M365 Operations).
