Senior Backend Developer - Backend Lead

We’re a profitable company developing a platform to monitor advertisements. We're looking for a Senior Backend Developer who genuinely loves to code, knows how to take ownership, and can work both independently and as part of a strong team. This role is for someone who leads by example, solves real problems responsibly, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done.

What you’ll do

●     Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js

●     Take ownership over features and systems end to end

●     Solve complex problems in a thoughtful, responsible way

●     Work closely with other engineers, product, and stakeholders

●     Lead technically when needed and contribute to architectural decisions

●     Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code

Requirements

●     At least 6 years of experience working with Node.js in production environments

●     Strong experience with MongoDB, MySQL, and AWS – mandatory

●     Proven ability to work independently and within a team

●     Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of ownership and accountability

●     Passion for coding and building real products

●     Experience working with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Codex)

Nice to have

●     Experience with React is a big advantage

●     Experience leading features, mentoring, or driving technical initiatives

●     Ad tech experience
