You will join one of our backend teams, building the microservice-based systems that power our product. The team owns a range of backend services - from product-facing APIs to the infrastructure that moves and transforms business data from our data lake, through our warehouse, into Elasticsearch - supporting features like our internal search engine, AI agents, and more. You'll design and build services at real scale, balancing performance, reliability, and growing throughput as the product evolves. This is backend engineering with direct product impact: the services and systems you build power capabilities our users and internal teams rely on every day. What are we looking for? We are looking for a top-tier Backend Engineer with 5+ years of experience building complex production systems. The ideal candidate has experience designing and building distributed systems and can comfortably reason about performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability. You are passionate about writing high-quality code, continuously improving engineering practices, and building backend infrastructure that delivers meaningful impact to both customers and the business. Requirements: What should you have? • 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Backend Developer • Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities • Great communication and collaboration skills • Hands-on experience with Python/Java • Experience working with microservices architecture • Comfortable working with AI-powered development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Claude) • Previous experience in a SaaS company • Advantage - experience tackling scalability challenges and developing enterprise-grade solutions • Advantage - experience working with large-scale data infrastructure
