The Role

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who loves solving deep engineering problems and wants to take ownership of our systems.

Our challenges lie in building robust backend services, scaling data pipelines, and integrating domain-specific AI models into complex enterprise architectures. We’re a small, senior-heavy team where everyone writes code, everyone makes architectural decisions, and everyone ships.

What You’ll Own

* Our Backend Architecture: Design and build reliable, distributed backend systems where correctness and auditability matter as much as uptime.

* The "Glue": Connect our AI/ML research and models with the core product, making sure our data pipelines are fast, auditable, and secure.

* Enterprise Readiness: Help us build systems that meet rigorous security requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, identity management) for our Fortune 100 clients.

* Feature Execution: Work closely with Product and the rest of the team to move features from idea to clean, production-ready code.

What We’re Looking For

* 8+ years of backend engineering experience, with a solid track record of designing complex systems from scratch.

* Startup DNA: You're comfortable with ambiguity and don't need a detailed spec to start building.

* Solid Engineering Fundamentals: Deep hands-on knowledge of Python, microservices, relational databases, and general software architecture. TypeScript is a strong plus.

* Practical AI Engagement: You don't need to be an AI researcher, but you should have hands-on experience or active engagement with LLMs, RAG, and vector databases.

* Hands-on Attitude: You'll build the systems, run them, and live with the consequences.
