Senior Big-Data Engineer

A leading enterprise software company is looking for a Senior Big-Data Engineer to design, build, and scale the data infrastructure behind its Digital Employee Experience platform.

The company develops an AI-powered platform that helps enterprise IT teams monitor, analyze, automate, and improve digital workplace environments across devices, applications, networks, and cloud-based systems. This is a high-impact engineering role focused on building real-time data pipelines and scalable processing infrastructure that power intelligent insights and automation across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale advanced data infrastructure and processing pipelines.

• Develop real-time and large-scale data services that support insights, analytics, and automation across the platform.

• Own the full service lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment, monitoring, scaling, and production reliability.

• Work with streaming technologies and data-processing systems in cloud environments.

• Ensure high standards of data quality, reliability, scalability, performance, and compliance.

• Collaborate closely with backend, AI, and data teams to deliver robust production-ready systems.

• Support AI-first product initiatives by building data infrastructure that enables intelligent automation and real-time decision-making.

• Work in a cloud-native environment using modern engineering practices and scalable architectures.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer / Big Data Engineer - must.

• Strong hands-on development experience with Java and/or Scala - must.

• Experience working with Kafka - must.

• Experience working with public cloud environments - must.

• Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines and production data infrastructure.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, data processing, and production-grade backend services.

• Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a senior hands-on engineering role.
