Senior Cyber Defense Analyst

Lab42 is a cutting-edge cyber company, involved in establishing new leading cyber intelligence and security solutions, designed to solve advanced and complicated technological challenges in today's cyber security field. Lab42 are looking for a Senior Cyber Defense Analyst for a role that combines cybersecurity analysis and investigation, hands-on work with an advanced technology platform, professional engagement with a customer, and direct impact on product development. In this role, you will work closely with the customer’s cybersecurity teams, analyze findings, vulnerabilities, exposures, and threats, and support risk assessment, insight generation, and professional recommendations. A key part of the role is developing a deep understanding of the customer’s environment and needs, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement, and translating them into actionable insights and requirements for the Product and R&D teams.

Requirements: Key Responsibilities • Analyze and investigate cybersecurity findings, vulnerabilities, exposures, and threats. • Assess and prioritize risks and provide actionable insights and recommendations. • Work hands-on with the company’s platform and help maximize its capabilities. • Work closely with the customer’s cybersecurity teams. • Understand customer needs and identify gaps and new requirements. • Translate customer needs and field feedback into clear requirements for Product and R&D. • Maintain a continuous feedback loop between the customer and the company’s internal teams. What We’re Looking For • Significant experience in cyber defense and cybersecurity analysis. • Experience investigating cybersecurity findings, vulnerabilities, exposures, and threats. • Strong understanding of infrastructure, networks, operating systems, and services. • Strong investigative skills and the ability to correlate information from multiple sources. • Ability to work independently with customers and across multiple stakeholders. • Ability to translate professional and technical needs into clear requirements for Product and R&D teams.
