We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist / GenAI Tech Lead

To be part of advanced AI and GenAI initiatives within a leading organization.

Overall, as a Senior Data Scientist / GenAI Tech Lead, you will provide professional and technological leadership for complex AI and GenAI solutions, from architecture and design through production, while remaining deeply involved in hands-on development.

You will lead the design and implementation of RAG and Text-to-SQL solutions, work extensively with LLMs, NLP, and advanced data technologies, develop evaluation methodologies for NLP and GenAI systems, and lead professionals and complex technology projects from PoC to production.

The role includes designing scalable AI and Data Science architectures, implementing advanced retrieval and information-access solutions, and driving AI systems into robust production environments.

This is a full-time position offering a highly flexible hybrid work model,

with the option to choose your preferred office location – Jerusalem or Ramat Gan.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field – Required

• 7+ years of experience in Data roles, including 3+ years of experience in Data Science – Required

• Significant experience developing and deploying NLP and Information Retrieval systems to production – Required

• Hands-on experience developing RAG systems, including Embeddings, Chunking, Indexing, Retrieval, and Reranking – Required

• Experience developing Text-to-SQL solutions – Required

• Hands-on experience with Python and SQL – Required

• Experience working with Vector Databases, Search Engines, Knowledge Graphs, or similar technologies – Required

• Experience designing and implementing evaluation processes for NLP and GenAI systems – Required

• Experience with DataOps, MLOps, or LLMOps and operating AI solutions in production environments – Required

• Experience designing architectures for complex AI and Data Science systems – Required

• Experience leading technology projects from PoC through production – Required

• In-depth knowledge of LLMs, Prompt Engineering, Agents, and Agentic AI – Required

• Experience working in large organizations, government environments, or highly regulated and data-intensive environments – Advantage

• Familiarity with taxation-related domains – Advantage
