About the Role

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Build Engineer with a strong development background to join our team. This is a hands-on technical role that sits at the intersection of software development and DevOps — the ideal candidate started their career as a developer and transitioned into DevOps, bringing deep understanding of both worlds.

What You'll Do

• Own and maintain our Azure DevOps Server environment (on-premises)

• Design, build, and maintain production CI/CD pipelines

• Manage build systems for C++ and C# / .NET projects

• Troubleshoot complex build, compilation, and dependency issues

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling

• Support development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams

• Manage container images, registries, and Linux environments

• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

Requirements

• 6+ years of total experience, including:

• 2+ years of hands-on software development

• 4+ years of DevOps / Build Engineering experience

• Proven experience managing Azure DevOps Server on-premises

• Deep expertise with Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, Azure Artifacts

• Strong understanding of C++ build toolchains — CMake, GCC/Clang, Make/Ninja, static and shared libraries

• Strong understanding of C# / .NET build toolchains — MSBuild, dotnet CLI, NuGet

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Linux container environments

• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python

• Solid Git knowledge — branching strategies, pull requests, release branches

• Experience managing secrets, credentials, and service accounts

• Familiarity with software supply-chain security practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm

• Experience with SonarQube or similar static-analysis tools

• Experience with Artifactory, Nexus, or Harbor

• Experience with Terraform or Ansible

• Experience supporting air-gapped or restricted environments

• Experience migrating or upgrading Azure DevOps Server
