🚀 FPGA Development Engineer | Defense Company | Central Israel

A leading defense company is looking for an experienced FPGA Development Engineer to join its FPGA team and work on complex and advanced systems.

The role includes:

• Developing complex FPGA designs, including embedded processors and high-speed interfaces such as DDR, PCIe, SERDES, and JESD204

• Defining architectures, preparing design documentation, implementing modules, and integrating FPGA designs into complete systems

• Post-production ramp-up, laboratory debugging, and software integration

• Developing test benches and performing end-to-end simulations using VHDL, MATLAB, and Python

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering – mandatory

• 5–7 years of experience working on complex projects with large FPGA devices – mandatory

• Proven end-to-end FPGA development experience, including integration into final systems – mandatory

• Strong experience with complex VHDL simulations – mandatory

• Hands-on laboratory debugging using JTAG, including script development – mandatory

• Experience with laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RF signal generators – mandatory

• Experience implementing signal processing algorithms – an advantage

• Experience with MATLAB – an advantage
