About the Role:

Ness is looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our technology division and help build advanced, mission-critical software systems.

A hands-on technical leader- someone who loves writing high-quality code, solving complex engineering challenges, and helping other developers grow.

In this role, you will work on modern full-stack systems, lead technical design and implementation, mentor other developers, and help us improve our development quality, delivery speed, architecture, and engineering standards.

Full time position in Tel Aviv.

What will you do:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced full-stack software systems.

• Lead technical design and architecture decisions.

• Work hands-on across frontend, backend, database, integrations, and infrastructure-related areas.

• Mentor junior developers and help raise the team’s technical level.

• Improve code quality, testing standards, development processes, and delivery speed.

• Take part in complex integrations with existing and legacy systems.

• Promote best practices in software architecture, clean code, testing, observability, and maintainability.

• Collaborate with product, architecture, DevOps, cybersecurity, and other engineering teams.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of experience as a full-stack developer.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Tech Lead.

• Strong frontend experience with React and TypeScript.

• Strong backend experience with Node.js.

• Experience working with PostgreSQL.

• Experience with complex integrations and legacy systems.

• Experience with event-driven development and distributed system design.

• Strong experience with testing methodologies, including unit tests, component tests, and E2E tests.

• Ability to mentor developers, lead technical discussions, and set high engineering standards.

• Strong ownership, communication skills, and ability to work in a complex, mission-critical environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience working with big data systems and large-scale platforms.

• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Elasticsearch.

• Experience modernizing legacy systems.

• Experience in high-availability, high-reliability, or mission-critical environments.
