We are ingesting a firehose of complex agent telemetry. Our mission is to transform raw, messy logs from 3rd-party platforms into a structured "truth" that our security models can act on. We are looking for a Data Engineer who views data pipelines as a high-performance engine, someone who can architect a robust system that handles scale without unnecessary "tech inflation."

What You’ll Do

• Engineer the Pipeline: Design and maintain high-throughput ETL/ELT pipelines using distributed compute frameworks (e.g., Spark/Databricks) to process logs and API configurations.

• Integrate the Ecosystem: Build resilient connectors to pull data from third-party systems (such as Salesforce), mastering the nuances of various APIs and rate-limiting strategies.

• Data Modeling: Architect scalable schemas across relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and high-performance storage layers (e.g., Delta Lake) to ensure the frontend can query security insights in real-time.

• Performance Tuning: Optimize data processing for both cost and speed, ensuring our digital twin reflects the latest telemetry with minimal latency.

• Full Ownership: Bridge the gap between raw ingestion and the backend services that power our UI.

Your Technical Arsenal

• The Core: 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with a focus on production-scale pipelines.

• Distributed Processing: Expert-level knowledge of large-scale compute engines (e.g., Spark) and modern lakehouse architectures to manage the data lifecycle.

• Code Quality: Mastery of Python and SQL; you write data jobs that are as clean, modular, and tested as application code.

• Infrastructure: Solid understanding of cloud environments (e.g., AWS S3/RDS) and how they interface with external platforms.

• Lean Engineering: A proven ability to build scalable systems without over-engineering or adding redundant layers.
