Senior Fullstack Developer

We're looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join our team!

HomeLend is a direct marketplace for mortgages, connecting whole loan lenders and investors with smarter pricing, automated eligibility, and end-to-end transaction management. We are transforming an industry that still runs on spreadsheets and email.

THE ROLE

You will own features end to end — from the Vue interfaces our lenders and investors work in daily, through the Django APIs behind them, down to the pricing and eligibility engines that decide what a loan is worth and who will buy it. Wide surface area, real ownership, and you will see the impact the same week you ship.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build features across the stack. Vue 3 + TypeScript on the front, Django + DRF on the back.

• Evolve our core engines. Loan pricing and investor eligibility matching.

• Integrate with the mortgage ecosystem. LOS platforms, due diligence providers, credit and valuation vendors.

• Design data models and background pipelines that stay fast as volume grows.

• Write the tests that keep it all honest. pytest, Vitest, Playwright.

WHAT WE NEED

• Daily, hands-on work with AI coding agents — Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar. You run several in parallel and know where their output needs your judgment.

• Hands-on experience building AI into a product — LLM features, agents, retrieval, evaluation. Not only coding with AI tools.

• 5+ years building production software, with real depth on both sides of the stack.

• 3+ years hands-on Vue.js + TypeScript — this is a Vue shop.

• Strong Python + Django, solid REST API instincts, and real database skills — schema design, query performance, safe migrations.

• Experience in complex platform companies — real integrations, real data, real scale.

• A strong eye for UI/UX and clear communication.
