Senior GenAI Engineer | Agents & RAG | Leading Defense Organization

A leading defense organization in the Shfela area is looking for a Senior GenAI Engineer to join its Data Science team and develop advanced Generative AI products powered by LLMs, AI Agents, and RAG architectures.

The role combines Software Engineering with applied GenAI research and development, from building intelligent agents and RAG pipelines to Python development, Prompt Engineering, model evaluation, and integration into real-world products.

What You'll Do

• Develop advanced Generative AI and LLM-powered applications

• Build autonomous AI Agents capable of reasoning, executing multi-step workflows, and interacting with external systems

• Design, develop, and maintain Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures

• Develop GenAI applications and integrations using Python

• Work with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex

• Design and optimize prompts and complex LLM workflows

• Develop and implement Machine Learning models

• Evaluate model outputs and measure GenAI system performance

• Use advanced SQL for data extraction, preparation, and analysis

• Research, evaluate, and implement emerging AI models, frameworks, and technologies

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on Software Development experience, including Full Stack development and Python – required

• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing Generative AI systems and products – required

• Hands-on experience developing LLM-powered applications

• Experience building AI Agents and RAG systems

• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar LLM application frameworks

• Strong practical experience developing and implementing Machine Learning models

• Strong Python proficiency – required

• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries – required

• Experience with Prompt Engineering and LLM optimization

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering & Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a relevant field – required

Significant Advantages

• M.Sc. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science

• Experience with Qdrant or other Vector Databases

• Experience with Docker and deployment tools

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik

• Experience improving and automating business processes using AI
