Electronics Engineer | Sustaining Engineering & Engineering Investigation

Are you an experienced Hardware Engineer looking for a new challenge beyond traditional board development?

A leading defense company in the Karmiel area is looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join its Sustaining Engineering team supporting advanced airborne systems throughout their lifecycle.

This role is ideal for senior hardware engineers who enjoy investigating complex technical problems, leading engineering research activities, working with multidisciplinary teams, and driving solutions for products already in production.

What You'll Do

• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues discovered during manufacturing and field operation

• Lead engineering investigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

• Work closely with Hardware, Software, FPGA/VHDL, System Engineering and Manufacturing teams

• Develop creative engineering solutions for component obsolescence challenges

• Lead engineering changes and support product modifications throughout the lifecycle

• Support verification activities and validation processes

• Prepare technical documentation and engineering reports

• Contribute to advanced airborne systems used in operational environments

What We're Looking For

• Practical Electronics Engineer or B.Sc. in Electrical / Electronics Engineering

• At least 3 years of experience in electronic board development

• Strong hardware troubleshooting and analytical skills

• Experience working with complex electronic systems

• Ability to investigate technical issues and drive solutions independently

• Experience working in multidisciplinary environments

• Experience supporting products in manufacturing environments

• Depot-level repair experience
