Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer

We're hiring a Senior Infrastructure Lead to own the end-to-end planning, deployment, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure — Linux systems, Active Directory & identity management, NetApp storage, and virtualization/cloud environments — while working closely with R&D/DevOps teams and leveraging AI tools for automation and optimization.

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, and maintain Linux (hands-on) and Windows Server environments

• Manage virtualization (VMware/KVM) and cloud (AWS/Azure) environments

• Own architecture, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of NetApp storage systems (ONTAP/FAS/AFF) — Volumes, Snapshots, Qtrees, and performance optimization

• Own Active Directory architecture and operations — users, permissions, GPOs, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Hybrid sync

• Manage backups, DRP, and data replication

• Write automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible)

• Provide infrastructure support to R&D/DevOps teams, including DEV/QA/Staging/Production environments (and AI/ML workloads as needed)

• Support CI/CD processes and infrastructure architecture

• Leverage AI tools & LLMs (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate scripting, automate sysadmin tasks, and enhance troubleshooting

What you bring

• 5+ years leading infrastructure/systems in mid-to-large organizations

• 3+ years deep, hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP

• 3+ years managing Linux environments (Ubuntu/RedHat/CentOS)

• Experience with VMware/KVM, cloud (AWS/Azure), and scripting (PowerShell/Bash/Python/Ansible)

• Strong, proven experience managing Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), GPO design, and complex permission structures

• Proven track record working closely with development/DevOps teams

Nice to have

• Practical experience with AI tools (Generative AI/AIOps) for automation, data analysis, scripting, and troubleshooting
