Job Description

We are seeking a senior administrator to own and support our Israeli site enterprise Linux, storage and backup environments. The role covers Linux servers, SAN and file services, Dell NetWorker and PowerProtect Data Domain, configuration management, automation, upgrades, migrations and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

Administer physical and virtual Linux servers throughout their lifecycle, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades and decommissioning

Configure and troubleshoot system services, filesystems, LVM, networking, DNS, NTP, SSH and package repositories

Manage server hardware including RAID controllers, HBAs, firmware and out-of-band management

Implement security hardening, vulnerability remediation and administrative access controls

Own enterprise SAN storage and Fiber Channel infrastructure, including provisioning, zoning, multipathing and capacity monitoring

Maintain file services (CIFS/SMB, Samba, NFS, FTP/SFTP) with Active Directory integration and secure access management

Manage backup and recovery using Dell NetWorker and PowerProtect Data Domain, including replication and recovery testing

Automate operations through Puppet/Foreman provisioning and scripting (Bash, Perl, Python), while maintaining documentation and disaster recovery plans

Job Requirements

**Must Have:**

• 7–10 years relevant infrastructure administration experience, including senior/escalation role

• Strong production experience with physical and virtual Linux servers (RHEL or compatible) in enterprise AD environments

• Enterprise SAN storage expertise and solid understanding of Fiber Channel switching, zoning, HBAs and multipathing

• Experience with CIFS/SMB, Samba, NFS, FTP/SFTP services

• Production experience with Dell NetWorker and PowerProtect Data Domain

• Good English (written and spoken)

• Brocade/Broadcom FC switching, Linux clustering/HA technologies

• B.Sc. in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.

**Nice to Have:**

• Puppet and Foreman administration; Bash, Perl, Python scripting ability

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, LDAP, AD, Kerberos, SSH, TLS

• Ability to work independently, document procedures and provide senior-level support

• Oracle database infrastructure knowledge (RMAN, coordinating backups with DBA team)

• Familiarity with monitoring platforms (OpManager, Zabbix, Nagios, SolarWinds, Dell)
