Senior Mechanical Engineer

Looking for a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a small, well-funded stealth startup company with customers (near herzelia train station). Lead large system of systems, end-to-end highly complex mechanical development—from concept and detailed design through prototyping, integration, testing, manufacturing, and trials.

Requirements

• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

• 10+ years of mechanical design experience.

• Strong hands-on prototyping and testing skills.

• Ability to integrate mechanical, electrical, thermal, and structural constraints

• Proven knowledge of mechanical mechanisms (must) and static assemblies made from metals. knowledge of design with titanium and aluminum, CNC machining, plastic 3D printing, electronic enclosures including thermal design and constraints, and end-to-end product development from concept through integration and transfer to production, advantage to carbon-fiber chassis design.

Nice to have

Aerospace, UAV, or space-industry experience, thermal management, stress analysis, and lightweight structural optimization.
