Senior Mechanical Engineer – Semiconductor Metrology & Inspection Systems

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of complex mechanical systems and assemblies. This role includes full ownership of the mechanical design process — from system and sub-system requirements definition, through detailed mechanical design of dynamic assemblies, pneumatic solutions, and cooling systems, to production support, integration, and testing. The position requires strong hands-on design capabilities, independent work, and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including system, electronics, quality, and manufacturing.

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineer, graduate of a recognized university in Israel

• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience

• Proven experience designing dynamic assemblies, including sub-assembly requirements definition (motors, sensors, quality, cleanliness, accuracy, repeatability, stability), pneumatic solutions, and precision degrees of freedom at micron-level resolution (linear and rotational motion)

• Experience designing cooling assemblies, including connector and piping/tubing selection and relevant engineering calculations (flow resistance, minimum flow rate, heat dissipation)

• Experience in strength and structural analysis

• Broad familiarity with manufacturing methods, including welding, precision machining, various 3D printing technologies, and design across multiple materials (polymers and metals)

• Ability to work fully independently through all design phases, leading definition, development, testing, and release of assigned modules

Advantages:
