Senior Strategy & Economic Policy Consultant

We are looking for a senior strategic and economic professional to join a leading public-sector organization and play a key role in shaping national policy in the telecommunications sector.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced consultant, economist or policy professional with a strong strategic mindset to work on high-impact economic and regulatory issues, conduct international benchmarking and contribute directly to policy decisions — including the allocation and pricing of spectrum.

The Role

You will work at the intersection of strategy, economics, regulation and public policy, providing analysis and recommendations on complex issues that have a significant impact on the telecommunications market.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing economic and strategic analyses to support policy decisions

• Examining spectrum allocation models and pricing approaches in Israel and international markets

• Conducting international regulatory benchmarking and comparative market research

• Analyzing financial statements, financial data and market trends across the telecommunications sector

• Preparing position papers, presentations and decision-support materials for senior stakeholders

• Developing strategic recommendations based on complex economic, regulatory and market data

• Leading projects and driving complex, cross-organizational processes from analysis through implementation

• Working independently while collaborating with senior professionals and multiple stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of relevant experience following a Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years following a Master's degree

• Bachelor's degree in Economics – required; Master's degree – an advantage

• Background in strategy consulting, economic consulting, regulatory advisory, government or other policy-oriented environments

• Strong experience in strategic analysis, economic research, regulation, market analysis or policy development

• Strong analytical and financial capabilities, with the ability to work with complex datasets and financial information

• Excellent ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations

• Outstanding writing, presentation and communication skills in Hebrew and English

• Ability to lead complex projects, influence stakeholders and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
