About the Role

We are looking for a Senior System Administrator to own the core infrastructure of the company and its customer environments: virtualization, enterprise SaaS systems, and Microsoft environments, while serving as the top professional escalation tier (Tier 3-4) for the IT and NOC departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage VMware and Proxmox virtualization environments across multiple sites and customer environments, including backup management with Veeam and PBS

• Manage enterprise SaaS systems: EDR, RMM, email security, MFA, DNS records, and more

• Full management of Microsoft 365 and Intune environments, including security policies and automations

• Serve as the Tier 3-4 escalation point for the IT and NOC teams on complex server infrastructure and Microsoft 365 issues

• Build and manage servers and Microsoft 365 environments for the company's customers, including resource and storage scaling

• Manage storage systems (Dell, IBM) and cloud environments (Zadara), ongoing monitoring (Zabbix) and alert handling

• Perform version, security, and firmware updates across servers, storage, and backup systems

• Manage SSL certificates and domains for the company and its customers

• Document procedures, configurations, and changes

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a system administrator - required

• Strong expertise in Microsoft environments: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune - required

• Hands-on experience with VMware and/or Proxmox virtualization - required

• Experience as a senior escalation tier (Tier 3-4) supporting IT or NOC teams - required

• Experience with backup and monitoring systems (Veeam, Zabbix) - advantage

• Experience with storage systems and cloud environments - advantage

• Working knowledge of Linux server environments - advantage

• Scripting and automation experience (PowerShell) - advantage

• Experience in an MSP, ISP, or integration environment managing multiple customer environments - advantage

• Relevant Microsoft, virtualization, or Linux certifications - advantage

• Availability for urgent issues beyond regular working hours

• Independence, strong service orientation, and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
