Signalling and Train Control Manager

RINA is currently recruiting for a Signalling and Train Control Manager to join its office in Tel Aviv within the Project Engineering Division.

Mission

Provide technical leadership for signalling and train control systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation of the high-speed rail network.

Key Accountabilities

Lead ETCS Level 2 implementation and integration activities.

Coordinate signalling design reviews and technical decisions.

Support development of operational concepts and performance requirements.

Manage interfaces with railway systems and operational teams.

Ensure compliance with safety and assurance requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering

Qualifications

• Degree in Railway, Electrical, Electronic, Systems, or Telecommunications Engineering.

• Minimum 10 years of signalling experience, including high-speed rail projects.

• Expertise in ETCS Level 2 and railway signalling systems.

• Knowledge of CENELEC standards and RAMS methodologies.

• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder management skills.

• Expertise in quality control and assurance processes. In-depth knowledge of compliance and safety standards in engineering projects.

• Demonstrated ability to manage technical aspects of high-value and large-scale projects.

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for addressing complex technical challenges.

• Proven ability to develop risk mitigation strategies and manage technical risks.

• Capable of high-level strategic planning to optimize project execution.
