Software Configuration Management (SCM) Engineer | Leading Defense Organization | Shfela Area

A leading defense organization in the Shfela area is looking for a Software Configuration Management (SCM) Engineer to support complex, multi-component technology projects.

The role includes end-to-end responsibility for software configuration throughout the development lifecycle, including version and change management, releases, baselines, automation, and maintaining consistency across development, testing, and Production environments.

What You'll Do

• Manage Software Configuration Management (SCM) processes across complex, multi-component projects

• Manage source code versions and software changes

• Own Release, Baseline, and version recovery processes

• Work with version control and configuration tools including ClearCase, Azure DevOps, and SVN

• Develop and maintain scripts and automation for Build & Release processes

• Maintain configuration documentation and BOM (Bill of Materials)

• Ensure consistency across Development, Testing, and Production environments

• Collaborate closely with Software Development, QA, and System Engineering teams

• Support engineers with configuration management and engineering data processes

• Continuously improve SCM processes, methodologies, and standards

What We're Looking For

• 1–2+ years of hands-on Software Configuration Management (SCM) experience – required

• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following: ClearCase, Azure DevOps, or SVN – required

• Good understanding of Software Development, Testing, and Release processes

• Experience working with complex, multi-version systems

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple technical interfaces
