Key Responsibilities

This role is a unique opportunity to join Check Point's Email Security and Security Awareness team and build a large-scale, AI-powered cloud security platform.

As a Full Stack Developer with a strong Back-End orientation, you will design, develop, and own significant parts of our production systems. We are looking for an engineer with strong back-end capabilities who is equally comfortable contributing across the full stack, including our Angular-based frontend, according to the evolving needs of the product.

You will work on systems that help organizations protect their employees against phishing and social-engineering attacks, including large-scale security awareness campaigns, realistic attack scenarios, AI-generated content, personalization, delivery infrastructure, and user behavior analysis.

The platform processes tens of millions of transactions daily and makes extensive use of AWS technologies and managed services including Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Kafka, SQS, ElastiCache, Elasticsearch, Bedrock, Athena, and more.

You will build high-throughput distributed services, asynchronous processing pipelines and APIs, and take ownership of solutions from design and implementation through production operation.

• Design, develop, and own production-grade backend services for a large-scale cloud security platform

• Build scalable APIs, asynchronous processing pipelines, and data-driven applications

• Develop AI-powered capabilities using modern generative AI technologies

• Solve performance, scalability, reliability, and architecture challenges in a large production environment

• Contribute across the full stack, including both backend systems and our Angular frontend

• Work closely with Product, QA, Support, and other R&D teams

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience

• 2+ years of software development experience, with strong Python development skills

• Experience developing backend services in a cloud environment, preferably AWS

• Experience developing with a modern frontend framework; Angular experience is an advantage

• Good understanding of relational databases and SQL

• Understanding of common backend concepts such as asynchronous processing, messaging, caching, and distributed systems

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies and take ownership of production code

• Experience working with Generative AI / LLM-based applications – advantage

• Experience in cybersecurity – advantage
