We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Manager to be a part of an exciting and new project with a leading organization.

Overall, as a Software Development Manager you will Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of a large-scale technology project involving multiple development teams. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with responsibility for Microservices architecture, Java development, Cloud and On-Premise environments, DevOps and CI/CD processes. You will drive technical decisions, development standards, system quality and delivery, while working closely with Team Leads, Developers, Architects, System Analysts and Product Managers.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience leading software development as a Software Development Manager, Tech Lead or Lead Developer

• 4+ years of hands-on software development experience, preferably with Java

• Strong experience with Microservices, Distributed Systems, API design and service-to-service communication

• Experience with Cloud and On-Premise environments, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD

• Experience with SQL, NoSQL and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum and implementing code quality standards, Unit Testing and Code Reviews

• Experience migrating from Monolith to Microservices, infrastructure knowledge and Information Security experience, an advantage

• Strong technical leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills
