Software Engineer

Operating with a boutique, elite founding team of 5 professionals in Israel, the company offers a zero-to-one engineering environment with massive cross-domain exposure and direct ownership of the core system.

Located in the Central region (Walking distance from the train station), operating on an on-site work model.

Role Description

• Serving as a Core Multidisciplinary Software Engineer, taking end-to-end technical ownership of the core platform from web application services down to direct hardware-software integration.

• Developing and maintaining core software architectures predominantly in Python alongside performance-critical components in C++.

• Leading direct integration and control interfaces with physical hardware components, including high-resolution cameras, optical sensors, motion controllers/motors, and specialized illumination systems.

• Designing and optimizing database structures and data storage layers using PostgreSQL and NoSQL solutions.

• Integrating modern AI-assisted engineering tools (Cursor, Claude, Copilot) into everyday development workflows.

• Collaborating closely with System Architects, Algorithm/Computer Vision Researchers, Mechanical Engineers, and Optics specialists to deliver a unified, high-reliability commercial system.

Requirements-

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical degree / Alumni of an Elite IDF Technological Unit – Mandatory

• 3+ years of hands-on software development experience – Mandatory

• Strong hands-on focus on Python (at least 70% in current/recent role) with solid capabilities in C++ (or vice versa, with high mastery in one and solid capability in the other) – Mandatory

• Proven experience working in Multidisciplinary environments integrating Hardware + Software – Mandatory

• Hands-on experience working with databases (PostgreSQL and/or NoSQL datastores) – Mandatory

• Active, everyday experience utilizing modern AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude) – Mandatory

• Strong independent problem-solving abilities, high adaptability, and passion for early-stage startup building – Mandatory

• Background in Robotics, Industrial Automation, Cameras/Sensors, Computer Vision, Embedded/Linux, Edge AI, or Precision Printing/Motion Systems – Significant Advantage
