Software Engineer

Matrix is hiring an AI Engineer for a leading financial organization.

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to identify opportunities, translate business needs into technology solutions, and design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and intelligent agents that deliver measurable business value.

The role offers end-to-end ownership of AI projects — from problem definition and solution design, through development and implementation, to monitoring, optimization, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business and technology teams to understand operational challenges and define success metrics.

• Translate open-ended business problems into clear, practical, and scalable technology solutions.

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and intelligent agents, integrating them with enterprise systems.

• Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions — from requirements and architecture through implementation, deployment, and optimization.

• Evaluate solutions using real-world data, measure outcomes, and continuously improve performance and business impact.

• Ensure reliability, scalability, information security, and operational excellence in Production environments.

• Leverage modern AI development tools and frameworks to accelerate development and innovation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant technical field.

• 4+ years of experience in software development or technical roles involving complex problem-solving.

• Strong foundation in software design, system architecture, and distributed systems.

• Experience developing and operating applications and services in Production environments.

• Familiarity with modern AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent tools.

• Experience developing AI agents, Agentic workflows, automation platforms, RAG systems, or Conversational AI.
