Software Engineer Team Lead

Located in central Tel Aviv (walking distance from both Israel Railways and light-rail stations), operating on a hybrid work model.

Role Description-

• Serving as a Full-Stack Software Development Team Lead, leading, mentoring, and growing an organic squad of ~3 software engineers.

• Combining 60%–70% people leadership, technical governance, and architectural oversight with 30%–40% hands-on coding and development.

• Architecting and scaling high-throughput, resilient web platforms utilizing Node.js, React, TypeScript, and AWS cloud infrastructure.

• Driving technical roadmap execution for AI-powered SaaS and automated financial underwriting/repayment systems.

• Championing engineering best practices, modern code review standards, and the integration of AI-driven developer tooling into everyday workflows.

• Collaborating closely with Product Management, Data/AI specialists, and executive leadership to align technical deliverables with strategic business goals.

Requirements-

• 6 years of hands-on experience in Full-Stack / Software Engineering – Mandatory

• 3 years of proven managerial experience as a Software Development Team Lead – Mandatory

• Extensive hands-on development background with Node.js and React – Mandatory

• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern cloud platforms (AWS) – Mandatory

• Hands-on experience or active engagement with AI tools, LLM APIs, or AI-assisted development workflows – Mandatory

• High architectural capabilities in designing scalable, secure, and data-driven SaaS systems – Mandatory

• Excellent interpersonal, technical leadership, and communication skills – Mandatory

• Background in FinTech, E-Commerce platforms, Payment Gateways, or Financial SaaS – Advantage
