Software Engineering Team Leader

We are hiring a Team Leader to lead one of our full-stack scrum teams, ensuring the team achieves its goals while adhering to professional work methodologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other team leaders and members to drive the requirements, design, and development of the company's innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and mentor a cross-functional Scrum team, encompassing both front-end and back-end developers.

· Take full ownership of the areas overseen by the team, including end-to-end accountability for quality and the direct management and development of QA engineers.

· Oversee the design, development, and deployment of cloud-based applications.

· Work closely with stakeholders, including product managers and Platform team, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

· Ensure adherence to best practices in software development and Agile methodologies.

· Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and uphold Agile principles.

· Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed.

· Respond to service issues and improve alert systems to proactively address problems.

· Act as a first responder for shared infrastructure issues, escalating as necessary.

· Collaborate with other teams to implement automated solutions, reducing the need for manual intervention.

Requirements

· At least 2 years of experience as an R&D Team Leader or a similar leadership role.

· Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a software engineer, with hands-on expertise in modern backend engineering using a statically typed, compiled language (e.g. C#, Java, Go, C++).

· Experience in the development of enterprise product, preferably SaaS.

· Extensive experience in leading Scrum teams.

· Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Angular (an advantage).

· Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

· Familiarity with CI/CD processes and testing automation tools.

· Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
