Software Project Manager

About the Job

We are looking for a Software Project Manager – C4I & Command and Control Systems to join the Software Division at ELTA Systems.

This is an opportunity to lead complex software projects, working with multidisciplinary teams and cutting-edge technologies in the defense industry.

What the Role Includes:

• Full responsibility for software development within the project, including planning schedules and resources, risk management, requirements management, and delivery of project milestones.

• Managing the project lifecycle and coordinating activities across internal and external stakeholders.

• Working closely with the Business Project Manager and the end customer.

• Collaborating with Systems Engineering to define and receive system requirements.

• Managing development requirements and deliverables across multiple development teams.

• Leading and managing the project's integration plan in collaboration with Integration and DevOps teams.

• Ensuring effective synchronization between development, integration, and other project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering – mandatory.

• At least 2 years of proven experience as a Software Project Manager – mandatory.

• 1–3 years of experience leading development teams, preferably Client-Server development teams – mandatory.

• Hands-on software development experience – mandatory.

• Experience working with defense systems – an advantage.

• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.

• High level of English.
