PassportCard is a rapidly growing international insurer and financial services innovator, recognized for challenging traditional industry models through technology, customer-centric design, automation and digital-first operating principles. Our technology organization is in the midst of a significant transformation journey that includes: • Large-scale modernization of core insurance platforms • Migration toward cloud-native and event-driven architectures • Expansion of AI-powered business and engineering capabilities • Adoption of agentic software development practices (AI-DLC) • Creation of a next-generation digital platform for insurance, payments and customer services What you'll do: Define and evolve our enterprise architecture and technology strategy. Lead modernization of core platforms — policy administration, claims, underwriting, pricing, and customer/CRM systems. Drive cloud-native, event-driven, and microservices architecture at scale. Lead real, hands-on adoption of AI-DLC and agentic software delivery. Design RAG architectures, knowledge graphs, MCP-based systems, and multi-agent architectures. Establish AI governance, security, and evaluation frameworks for AI-generated code and analysis Own vendor/platform selection, build-vs-buy decisions, and technical debt strategy Partner with executives, product, and engineering leaders to turn strategy into architecture

Requirements: 15+ years in software engineering, 7+ years in senior architecture roles (Principal/Enterprise/Solution Architect) Deep cloud experience — AWS required, Azure a strong plus Microservices, Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, enterprise integration Hands-on (not just theoretical) experience with LLMs, agentic systems, RAG, knowledge graphs, or MCP-based architectures Comfortable influencing through expertise, not hierarchy — you'll work directly with executives Strong plus: experience in insurance, banking, financial services, fintech, or payments — especially with policy administration, claims, or underwriting systems This is a chance to build the architectural foundation for PassportCard's next decade of growth — and to define how AI changes enterprise software engineering, not just talk about it.
