Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software.
Position Overview
We are seeking a versatile, highly motivated Engineering student to help us develop 3D graphical simulation software solutions focused on robotics and automation systems for industries like Automotive, Electronics, Aerospace, and more. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your technical knowledge, gain real-world experience, and grow within a global software leader while working on complex industrial challenges.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and complete system validation tests ensuring compliance with customer business needs
• Prepare customer focused demos and tutorials
• Support customer projects and engagements driving new capabilities and technologies deployment
• Contribute to the advancement of robotics and automation solutions using 3D simulation and computer vision technologies
Qualifications
• BSc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with good grades (2nd year or higher) or equivalent experience. At least 3 remaining semesters.
• Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following: Robotics and automation, CAD/3D software, Computer Vision, or Machine Learning
• Knowledge of at least one programming language: C++, C#, or Python
• Excellent interpersonal skills and proficient English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Independent, creative, and self-motivated teammate with passion for constant learning and change
• Shown ability to work optimally with multi-functional teams

Compensation
The hourly rate for this position is ILS 90 per hour for students pursuing a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience during their first year of employment with Siemens. Starting from their second year of employment, students pursuing a bachelor's degree will receive ILS 100 per hour. Students pursuing a master's degree or equivalent experience will receive ILS 100 per hour.
