Supply Chain & Planning Specialist

Reports to: Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary

Responsible for managing the day-to-day relationship with EMS subcontractors, monitoring supplier performance in the areas of quality, delivery, and schedule adherence, coordinating activities between subcontractors and the Purchasing, Planning, Engineering, and Quality departments, resolving production issues and exceptions, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

EMS Responsibilities

• Act as the day-to-day operational interface with EMS subcontractors.

• Follow up on production progress, delivery schedules, and material availability.

• Coordinate open issues with subcontractors and escalate risks when necessary.

• Monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, and responsiveness.

• Support the preparation of reports and KPIs related to EMS performance.

Cross-Functional Alignments

• Work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, Logistics, Quality, and Sales to ensure alignment of supply plans and customer priorities.

• Assist in resolving operational issues impacting deliveries or production schedules.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

Requirements:

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Up to 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, Manufacturing, or Procurement.

• Experience working with ERP systems (Priority – an advantage).

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

• Fluent in Hebrew and English (written and spoken).

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with EMS subcontractors or electronic manufacturing companies.

• Familiarity with production planning and inventory management.

• Knowledge of supply chain processes in a manufacturing environment.
