System Integration Specialist

Role Description

AIR is looking for a hands-on System Integration Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating, validating, and troubleshooting complex electrical and electronic systems within our next-generation eVTOL aircraft. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration from assembly through flight testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate and validate avionics, power systems, sensors, and other electrical and electronic aircraft systems.

• Collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to achieve successful system-level integration.

• Support aircraft assembly, integration, functional testing, and troubleshooting activities.

• Plan and execute tests for electrical harnesses, mechanical assemblies, and integrated subsystems.

• Prepare and maintain wiring documentation, installation procedures, and integration protocols.

• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to verify system performance and technical compliance.

• Participate in aircraft build campaigns and flight test preparations.

Requirements

Must Have

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in electrical or electronic system integration.

• Background in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Avionics, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience working with wiring, connectors, harnesses, and electrical debugging.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and system diagrams.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Experience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Advantages
