System Performance Engineer

We are looking for a System Performance Engineer to join the Airborne Systems Factory at ELTA Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI).

The position includes:

• Algorithm integration into processing pipelines for advanced airborne air-to-ground radar systems

• Planning and participating in challenging flight tests while accounting for system constraints

• Supporting product maturation stages, including system performance analysis, test data interpretation, and preparation of customer reports

• Developing simulation and analysis tools

• Applying a system-level perspective while maintaining strong attention to technical details

• Working independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary engineering and development teams

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. in Systems Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Software Engineering – Mandatory

• M.Sc. in Exact Sciences or Engineering – Advantage

• At least 3 years of experience in system-level performance analysis and systems engineering – Mandatory

• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, including collaboration with engineering and development teams – Mandatory

• Experience with MATLAB and Python – Mandatory

• Familiarity with radar technologies and systems – Advantage

• Strong analytical, system-oriented thinking with the ability to dive into technical details
