System Validation Engineer - Israel

We’re looking for an experienced System Validation Engineer to join a team developing complex satellite ground station communication systems across hardware, software, RF and embedded technologies.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead system validation across PHY, hardware and software

• Develop automated test plans and procedures for new systems and features

• Build test setups for automated regression and manual testing

• Support system integration, bring-up, debugging and product validation

• Investigate defects, analyse failures and identify root causes

• Work closely with development and systems engineering teams on corrective actions

• Support test management and continuous integration methodologies

• Analyse test data and produce regular test execution reports and metrics

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline

• 5+ years’ experience in system validation

• Strong experience validating complex HW/SW/embedded systems in a laboratory environment

• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analysers, VNAs, Signal Generators, Power Meters and high-speed oscilloscopes

• Experience developing test automation, ideally using Python, C# or C++

• Knowledge of IP networking systems and communication protocols

• Experience planning, estimating and developing system tests

• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is advantageous

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• A collaborative, self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently
