Tech Lead R&D

A fast-growing, innovative global digital platform operating high-scale traffic and ad monetization technologies is looking for an experienced R&D Tech Lead to lead and scale its core engineering infrastructure.

In this role, you will define and execute the technology strategy, architect high-throughput systems from the ground up, mentor developers, and remain hands-on solving complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Strategy & Architecture: Own and drive the end-to-end technical strategy, scalable system design, and infrastructure architecture from scratch.

• Hands-on Leadership: Guide engineering best practices while actively coding and delivering robust, high-performance solutions for mission-critical systems.

• Full-Stack Development: Lead backend microservices development alongside modern web frontend implementations.

• Cloud & DevOps Alignment: Collaborate on cloud orchestration, automated deployment pipelines, and observability to ensure system resilience and high availability.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in technical leadership / Tech Lead roles.

• Backend Expertise: Proven, in-depth hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Frontend Knowledge: Strong background in modern client-side technologies (Angular 2+, HTML5, CSS3; React.js / Vue.js – advantage).

• Data Stores: Deep practical experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL / MariaDB, MongoDB; Redis / Aerospike – advantage).

• Cloud Infrastructure: Solid hands-on background with AWS services (EC2, RDS, DocumentDB, DynamoDB).

• OS & Web Servers: Solid proficiency in Linux environments (Ubuntu, Nginx, Apache).

• CI/CD & Observability: Experience with release automation pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) and monitoring stacks (Zabbix; Grafana, Prometheus, ELK – advantage).

Advantages:

• Strong hands-on experience with Containers & Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).

• Background in AdTech, high-traffic web platforms, or digital marketing technologies.
