Ivy Next, an innovative medical device start-up, is seeking a Technology Lead to join our team.

We are developing groundbreaking technology in the field of women’s health, with a medical device designed to drive meaningful change in gynecological care.

Following the completion of significant development milestones and the submission of our product to the FDA, we are entering a pivotal stage of growth as we prepare to transition into production and market launch.

We are looking for talented individuals who are eager to take ownership, contribute meaningfully, and play an active role in shaping the company’s journey.

Location: Industrial Park Caesarea (south)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Technology Lead for a broad and dynamic role combining practical technical work, problem-solving, and the ownership and leadership of tasks and processes across production and operations.

The role combines hands-on technical work with process and task leadership, requiring an in-depth understanding of the product, its assemblies and testing procedures, troubleshooting of technical issues, establishment of manufacturing processes, and close collaboration with suppliers and subcontractors.

Reporting to and working closely with the Operations Manager, this position is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to both the product and the practical work, taking ownership, and driving tasks from initial planning through successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop an in-depth understanding of the product, its assemblies, manufacturing processes, and testing procedures.

• Perform and lead assembly, testing, and manufacturing activities, while providing hands-on technical support and resolving issues that arise in the field.

• Establish, document, and continuously improve manufacturing, assembly, and testing processes.

• Independently lead tasks and projects from planning through execution and completion.

• Transfer and implement manufacturing and assembly processes at subcontractor facilities.

• Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors, including troubleshooting, performance follow-up, quality oversight, and schedule management.

• Manage warehouse and inventory processes, including incoming goods and material issuance to production.

• Collaborate closely with the Development and Quality teams.

Requirements

• Proven hands-on technical experience in a manufacturing, assembly, integration, or testing environment involving technological products – required.

• Strong technical capabilities and a genuine willingness to perform hands-on work – required.

• Ability to develop a deep understanding of products and technical processes, troubleshoot issues, and independently implement effective solutions.

• Proven ability to lead tasks from planning through execution and successful completion.

• Strong organizational skills, accountability, and the ability to work independently.

• Experience establishing, transferring, or improving manufacturing and assembly processes – a significant advantage.

• Experience working with suppliers and subcontractors – an advantage.

• Experience in the medical device industry or a technology company – a significant advantage.

• Experience in inventory and warehouse management – an advantage.

• Experience training or providing professional leadership to technicians and production personnel – an advantage.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a technically strong, independent, and hands-on individual who is genuinely curious about how things work — and knows how to make them work.

Someone who is equally comfortable at the workbench, assembling, testing, and troubleshooting a product, and working directly with suppliers or subcontractors to establish and drive processes forward.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants to take broad ownership, play a key role in building the company’s manufacturing infrastructure, and, as operations grow, develop into a professional leadership role overseeing the production team and technicians.
