Technology-Transfer Managers oversee commercialization and transfer of research outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess technologies: Evaluate research inventions for commercial potential and market viability.

• Manage IP protection: Coordinate patent, trademark, and copyright filings.

• Negotiate licensing agreements: Facilitate agreements between research institutions and industry partners.

• Facilitate collaborations: Connect researchers with industry partners to drive innovation.

Qualifications

• Degree in business, law, or science.

• Understanding of IP law and commercialization processes.
