Test Engineer

Position Summary:

The Test Engineer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of test processes and test systems for BATM’s products. The role includes defining test plans and processes for new products, developing new testing solutions and testers, and maintaining existing testers at both card and system levels. The Test Engineer will perform hands-on testing, debug and analyze test results, identify issues and track root causes, document technical test issues and solutions, and support Optical Transceiver testing. The role involves close collaboration with R&D, PLM, and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Determine new products test plan and process.

• Develop new testing & new testers.

• Maintain existing testers - Cards & System levels.

• Debug and Analyze test results, detect issues and track root causes.

• Document technical tests issues and solutions.

• Test & Support Optical Transceivers.

Requirements:

• Practical Engineer in electronics with minimum 3 years of experience as test engineer

• Proven knowledge & experience working with CVI, LabVIEW, TestStand.

• Good knowledge in testing instruments.

• Experience in debugging and components knowledge

• Familiarity with various testing techniques, such as JTAG, ICT, Functional, etc.

• Proven knowledge & experience in Optical transceivers testing.

• Good analyzing and troubleshooting skills.

• Good verbal and written English skills – Mandatory

• Willing to travel overseas according to company's requirements (~15%)

• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills

• Strong problem-solving skills; ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action.

• Self-motivated and be able to work autonomously and in a team environment.

• Self-learning ability on new technologies and solutions.
