We are looking for a UAV Integration & Field Operations Engineer to join our successful team.
This is a highly practical, field-driven role combining UAV integration, flight testing, customer-facing technical work, troubleshooting, and operational deployment.
The role sits at the intersection of field activity, customer needs, and product development - working closely with customers and internal software, algorithm, and hardware teams to bring systems from integration to successful deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead UAV integrations and system validation for customer-specific platforms
• Operate UAVs during testing, demos, and field deployments
• Integrate and validate electro-optical payloads, cameras, and vision-based systems
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, communication interfaces, and system-level failures in lab and field environments
• Analyze logs, telemetry, and system behavior to identify root causes and improve performance
• Work directly with customers to understand operational needs and support deployments
• Translate field issues and customer feedback into actionable engineering requirements
• Assemble, configure, and validate system hardware as part of integration workflows
• Support new product iterations through field feedback, system improvements, and operational insights
Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of professional UAV operation experience (mandatory) - military, commercial, or industrial environments. Hobby-only experience is not sufficient
• Hands-on experience integrating and operating Pixhawk-based UAV systems (mandatory)
• Strong familiarity with flight controllers and mission software (ArduPilot, PX4, Mission Planner, QGroundControl)
• Proven hands-on experience in UAV system integration and field testing
• Experience integrating electro-optical payloads, cameras, or vision-based systems - strong advantage
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities across hardware, software, telemetry, and communication interfaces
• Ability to analyze logs, telemetry, and system diagnostics
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Strong team player with a practical, ownership-driven mindset
• Willingness to travel internationally for customer deployments, demonstrations, and field testing
The position requires real operational UAV experience and proven integration capabilities - not only theoretical knowledge or hobby-level familiarity.
You’ll work closely with our software, algorithm, and hardware teams, lead customer integrations, and support live deployments in Israel and abroad.
This role is primarily office- and field-based, with limited hybrid flexibility depending on operational and deployment requirements.
