VP R&D

The VP R&D will lead a diverse team that discover and design novel agrochemical crop protection products. She\He will report to Agplenus's CEO and be responsible for the following topics:

·        Leading a wide range of scientific and technological R&D platform including prioritization, budgeting, etc.

·        Provide leadership, and guidance to the R&D team.

·        Explore new scientific directions and translating them into actual projects and processes.

·        Represent the scientific aspects of the company to third parties (conferences, companies, potential investors, board etc.)

Position requirements:

·        PhD. With 5+ years of R&D management experience in one or more of the following topics:

o  Biochemistry

o  Computational chemistry with Biology background

o  Weed biology/Agrochemicals

·        Agriculture industry experience is an advantage.

·        Excellent Project Management skills, with an ability to sponsor multiple projects, juggling different demands and ensuring focused delivery.

·        Familiar with various communication formats (e.g., presentations, written proposals, reports, correspondence, lead meetings, face-to-face dialogue, etc.)

·        Proficient with Microsoft products and other software.
