About us

We’re a venture-backed, pre-seed company building the visual intelligence layer for physical product companies, using real-time video AI.

We’re a small team, moving fast and shipping daily. What we’ve built works; we have paid production deployments with international brands. There’s still a lot to build, and the person in this role will help decide what that looks like.

The role

This is the most senior technical role at the company. You'll write code and make product calls in the same week, sit in on customer calls, and help build the engineering team from the ground up. You’ll own engineering: the architecture, the AI stack, vision pipeline, the technical standards, the team, and the roadmap.

What you'll do

• Own the architecture end to end: multimodal agents, reasoning engine, backend, integrations, and deployment

• Stay hands-on. Lead by building

• Ship to production frequently against the needs of live customers

• Own the hard calls on models, vendors, latency, reliability, security, and cost per session

• Set the engineering bar: testing, code quality, monitoring, operational discipline

• Build and develop the engineering team as we grow

• Work directly with the CEO on technical and product direction

What we're looking for

• 6+ years engineering with real ownership of production systems

• Hands-on experience with computer vision, multimodal AI, real-time AI, or AI agents

• Strong Python, capable across the stack when the job needs it

• You've taken systems from idea to deployment and lived the consequences

• Sharp judgment on reliability, latency, infrastructure, and cost

• Experience leading engineers, or the ability and desire to grow into that responsibility

• Clear communicator in English. You'll be in front of US enterprise customers

You don't need to have held a VP or CTO title. We care more about what you've built, what you've owned, and how you operate when the path isn't clear.

Nice to have

• Voice AI and speech pipelines

• Depth in a research-adjacent area: reasoning under uncertainty, knowledge representation, or evaluating systems without clean ground truth

• Ability to turn complex technical work into a clear and compelling story

• Enterprise integrations with ERP, CRM, ticketing, or other enterprise systems

• Comfortable when the problem isn't defined yet. You'd rather scope it yourself than wait for someone to hand it to you
